Stars at Night Fest 2, September 3, 2022

From pop-punk to hardcore, the Stars at Night Fest spanned virtually all the punk styles. Stars at Night is a music, design, video, literature, photography, booking and promotion company out of Austin. This, their second Stars at Night Festival, was held over two nights at Kick Butt Coffee on September 2nd and 3rd, 2022. The event featured 16 punk and hardcore bands from all over Texas during the two days.

I was only able to attend the second night of the festival, and because of the early 5:30pm start, I missed the first four bands. Day 2 featured performances by Live Another Day, Dave Armstrong And The Bottlenecks, The Clastic, The Capitalist Kids, Nothing Lost, The Butts, Baseborn, Bondbreakr, Action Frank, Hans Gruber and the Die Hards.

I made in time to see Nothing Lost, The Butts, Baseborn, Bondbreakr, Action Frank, Hans Gruber and the Die Hards and was impressed by all the bands I saw. All the bands were tight and put on shows worthy of any Warped Tour (R.I.P.) stage.
