A Horror Punk Xmas

On Friday, December 9 we hosted our first event: The Darker Side of Austin and Bloody Rose Boutique present: A Horror Punk Xmas. For this event we decided to take some of Austin’s coolest horror punk bands and vendors out of Austin to Hanovers Draughthouse in Pflugerville, the suburbs just north of Austin. We had DJ Edminister playing horror punk, goth, industrial and metal with music performance by Ole Creepy, The Immortalz, Rebel Flesh, and a fire show by Zen PoiZen. Our little dark Xmas Black Market was curated by Bloody Rose Boutique and featured the original artwork of Arresting Gear Industries, Dawn 11:11 Art Collective, JP & DM Creations, Typhoid & Swans Studio plus vintage VHS by Righteous Retro.

It was a really good turnout for our first event and people were excited that we brought these bands and vendors outside the city. We are planning to host more shows in different areas outside of Austin throughout 2023 to showcase dark music, performers and artists from Austin.
