A terrified toy salesman is mysteriously attacked. At the hospital, he clutches the year’s most popular Halloween costume, an eerie pumpkin mask. Suddenly, Doctor Daniel Challis finds himself thrust into a terrifying Halloween nightmare in producer John Carpenter’s daring gamble on making a HALLOWEEN movie with no Michael Myers. Audiences weren’t onboard at the time, but the film, directed by Tommy Lee Wallace (“Stephen King’s It”) has since become a Halloween season-defining cult classic.
