Fright Gallery V

Fright Gallery is an annual event hosted by Blood Over Texas, a producer of horror-themed events in the Austin area, that showcases local dark and horror artists in a gallery style setting. For 2024, Fright Gallery V returned to the Ben Hur Shrine Temple in Central Austin.

This year’s Fright Gallery featured 39 artist from all over Texas, along with a live DJ set that included a tribute to Return of the Living Dead, and a live score by Bradley Bills of CHANT and Brandon Lynch of Black Magic Cyborg during a live painting presentation by Daniel Kranz, Allison Eve, Haley Morgan and Meg Rae. There was also a special themed gallery called “The Void,” where artists contributed new, original works based on the theme, and a vintage-style seance photo booth.
